Having been a professional photographer for
over 47 years, this is still my career and livelihood. I use the newest
state of the art equipment and technologies while updating my equipment
to incorporate the very best, so your finished product will
look spectacular. My career in photography has also included motion
picture and video. I served in the Military and retired honorably from
the U. S. Navy while performing as a photographer. I am retired from
the Federal Civil Service and have worked as a U. S. Government
photographer for various agencies including the Department of Defense,
Veterans Administration - Chief of Medical Media. As the department head
I supervised still photography, motion picture, video production, TV
production and broadcast, satellite sending and receiving of
educational programs. I worked for (UPI) United Press International, Sacramento Union Newspaper and KOVR-TV both in Stockton California. I have also contributed photos to ESPN sports, (AP) Associated Press, Modesto Bee, Sacramento Bee (newspapers), various magazines and professional journals.
My
photography expertise includes but is not limited to the following:
weddings, portraits, commercial - industrial, technical - scientific,
sports, medical, research, pathology, ophthalmic eye photography, news
and public relations, fashion photography, groups large or small,
aerial photography, children and pets. I may have overlooked some avenues therefore if you need professional photography in
any area not mentioned, I can do it. I am an original member and still
active in (NPS) Nikon Professional Services. I am a photographic
consultant and have been asked to shoot photos for the Department of
Defense. When I started in photography I used the 4x5 speed-graphic camera, sheet film, and flash bulbs. I am
comfortable with digital using the best professional equipment
currently available.
I have photographed President Carter, Vice President Bush, Ronald and Nancy Reagan (when he was Governor of Calif and later as President). International
VIPs including Philippines President Arroyo and Mrs Marcus, Bishop Tutu
and Queen Elizabeth. Apple Computer co-founder Steve Wozniak, General Shelton Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Petraeus. Entertainment figures: Three Dog Night, The Who, Charlie Daniels Band, Rich Little, The Four Tops, Ike and Tina Turner, and Jerry Lee Lewis and many more.
